Cancellation Policy

- 10% of tariff will be charged for cancellation before one week prior to date of training date (not inclusive of the training date)
- 50% of tariff will be charged for cancellation less than one week but more than three working days before training date (not inclusive of the training date)
- No refund for cancellation less than three working days before training date (not inclusive of the training date)
- No Show equals session availed. In case of No Show, the session will be accounted for as availed. No refund will be given.
- Postponement of confirmed bookings can be considered in exceptional cases and subject to availability. In such cases 10% of tariff will be levied as handling charges.
- In case of unavoidable circumstances that classes need to be cancelled (extreme weather conditions, COVID lockdown, curfew etc), the classes will be reserved in a credit shell for future rescheduling.

Refund Policy

If refund approved based upon the cancellation policy, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10-15 business days. A refund handling charge of 5% will be levied on refunds issued. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If you do not receive your payment after 15 business days, please drop a mail to surfmangalore@gmail.com and we will revert at the earliest.

Terms of Use

In consideration of being allowed to participate in water sport events and activities and/or being provided with water sport recreational property or services, the guest, representative, legal guardian or otherwise responsible will assume and accept the following

 

1) ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS. WATER SPORTS AND WATER RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES ARE DANGEROUS and may involve SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DEATH. Risks include but are not limited to changing tides and water flow, collisions, inclement weather, lightning strikes, sea creatures and sea pests, equipment failure, operator error, all of which can serious injury, paralysis and/or death.

2) EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RESPONSIBILITY. The guest, representative, legal guardian or otherwise responsible agrees to assume responsibility for all the risks of the activity, whether above or not, EVEN THOSE RISKS ARISING OUT OF NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES NAMED BELOW, Participation in the activity is purely voluntary.

3) RELEASE. MANGALORE SURF CLUB, its office bearers, officers, agents, members, employees and volunteers, and each and every landowner, municipal and/or governmental agency upon whose property an activity is conducted (“owner”), if any, (Collectively “releases”) FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY OF ANY NATURE FOR ANY AND ALL INJURY OR DAMAGE (INCLUDING DEATH) as a result of participation in the activity, EVEN IF CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF ANY OF THE RELEASEES NAMED ABOVE OR ANY OTHER PERSON to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and if any portion thereof is held invalid, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect. This release shall be binding on the heirs, executors, administrators and assigns

4) RELEASE, Permission for the use of photograph or likeness to be used by MANGALORE SURF CLUB for promotions, advertising or feature articles in any print or electronic medium.

 

MANGALORE SURF CLUB reserves the right to terminate a lesson or rental at any time should the student or renter, children, invitees, guests or others misuse the equipment, endanger themselves or endanger others or show incapability of handling/controlling equipment or show incapability to listen to their instructor and follow safety rules. If lesson or rental if terminated due to this paragraph, a refund will not be due.
